Inspired by NATURE, and how we connect as people through foreign travel, this is also a very personal album as it is dedicated to PASCAL COLLET, Nolwenn’s father who passed away recently:.

“ I spent most of my childhood in NEW CALEDONIA where we developed a deep love of THE SEA. Weekends were spent at the beach and scuba-diving. My father sailed a lot and his biggest journey was to sail from the Caribbean island St Martin to French Polynesia.. In my father’s last retiring years, he lived in France, in Gascony, in the Gers, department 32. Hence, this album is titled for my father.”

“PACIFIC 32” Créé tout spécialement pour danseurs ADOLESCENTS, il a été élaboré en étroite collaboration avec le professeur de danse Debbie Allen.

Une BARRE complète avec un échauffement en profondeur et un exercice de renforcement musculaire des chevilles, des exercices au centre avec des pistes EXTRA LONGUES et un choix musical très étendu, une section pour le travail des POINTES et enfin une magnifique VARIATION.

Fortement inspiré par LA NATURE, et par la manière dont nous nous connectons aux autres par le voyage et l’imaginaire, c’est aussi un album très personnel puisqu’il est dédié à Pascal Collet, le père de Nolwenn récemment disparu:

“ J’ai passé toute mon enfance en Nouvelle Calédonie où j’ai développé une grande passion pour L'OCEAN. Nous passions nos week-ends à la plage entre cocotiers et coquillages.. Mon père a beaucoup navigué et son plus grand voyage aura été de rejoindre la Polynésie depuis les Caraïbes avec mon frère. A sa retraite, mon père s’est retiré dans le Gers, le département 32 d’où le titre du CD: PACIFIC 32 en son hommage.” Un album profond comme l’océan et chaleureux comme le Gers!
