PDF PIANO sheet music For pre-ballet or baby ballet class.

LES PREMIERS PAS was written in collaboration with UK ballet dancer and ballet teacher Joel Morris. 
Together, we decided to create an album to teach pre-ballet or baby ballet at pre-primary and primary level with the ambition to nurture the link between technical focus, imagery and musicality.
We tried to keep it as simple as possible, yet as creative, fun and artistic as possible!

The complete sheet music contains 35 original piano compositions (67 pages) to accompany any pre-ballet or baby ballet class at pre-primary and primary level.
Written with the very young ballet dancer in mind, the sheet music proposes a wide range of dance types, which any piano accompanist will find useful to play for any pre-ballet class: 
[March, Galop, Barcarolle, Waltz, Mambo, Samba, Jig, bouncy 6/8, Cakewalk, Ragtime, Lyrical 6/8, Grande Waltz, Tango, Polka, Sicilienne, “Play and Stop” pieces, changing speed pieces, lullaby…]
These dance types are declined in various styles which will appeal to very young children in a pre-primary or primary ballet class: [upbeat, jazzy, circus, neo-classical, comical/silent movie, folkloric to name a few] and with an emphasis on contrasts [in terms of accents, rhythms, dynamics, tempo, articulation/interpretation, pitch etc] which will be useful to stimulate listening, coordination and imagination in the young dancer.
For each composition, a suggestion of other compatible exercises is marked at the side allowing for ballet pianists to build their own library.
The suggestions for the choreographed movements are also written at the start of each composition and at the end of the book in the form of an illustrated mini teaching booklet.
